Use three items that fit together to make an impact<\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<h5>\n<style type=\"text\/css\" data-created_by=\"avia_inline_auto\" id=\"style-css-av-2pz4tl-a6344942ba42976529d8a6644bbbae22\">\n#top .hr.hr-invisible.av-2pz4tl-a6344942ba42976529d8a6644bbbae22{\nheight:10px;\n}\n<\/style>\n<div  class='hr av-2pz4tl-a6344942ba42976529d8a6644bbbae22 hr-invisible  avia-builder-el-2  el_after_av_hr  avia-builder-el-last '><span class='hr-inner '><span class=\"hr-inner-style\"><\/span><\/span><\/div><\/h5>\n<h5><span>Come back to the same item each time, hammering home the point:<br \/>\n<\/span><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>We can retain customers by reducing our reaction time.<\/li>\n<li>We can retain customers by offering round the clock support.<\/li>\n<li><span>And we can retain customers by delivering spare parts within 48 hours.<em> <\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span><strong>Three items that act in sequence to reach a desired goal. e.g.<\/strong> <em>\u201cIf we reduce our reaction time, offer round the clock support, and commit to delivering spare parts within 48 hours we will retain more customers.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span><strong>Three key themes that together cover a wide area. e.g<\/strong>. <em>\u201cWe need to retain customers, we need to expand into the BRIC countries and we need to acquire smaller local competitors.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span><strong><span style=\"color: #0070c0;\">2.\u00a0 Use rhetorical questions<\/span> <\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Ask a rhetorical question e.g. <em>\u201cSo what is our new customer support strategy?\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Offer a simple, even minimalistic, response\u00a0 e.g. <em>\u201cIt\u2019s called One Service.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Then drive this home with three related words or phrases to grab attention, encapsulate or summarize. e.g. <em>\u201cOne Service will form networks, it will promote best-practice sharing and most importantly it will make us even more effective.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #0070c0;\"><strong>3.\u00a0 Use your voice to leave a lasting impression <\/strong><\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li><span>You can connect the three items by rising or reducing the pitch of your voice for each one.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Going up with your voice increases emotion, going down brings a sense of finality and certainty.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>You may also want to put your most important point last \u2013 and then pause before it to make an additional impact.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>Give it a go.
