As a Target InCorporate Trainer you’ll deliver customized business English training in-house, supporting your clients in doing their jobs better in English. Typically, our programs have multiple trainers in one location and each team is managed by a dedicated program manager. A full-time InCorporate Trainer is responsible for the training needs of 70-100 business professionals. You work from within the client offices, delivering job-specific training that is easily transferable to the workplace.

As an InCorporate Trainer, your program blends elements such as regular classes, virtual training, one-to-one sessions, theme-based workshops, skill seminars and on-the-job training.  On-the-job training means getting out of the “classroom” and delivering training and support directly in the workplace. This can include shadowing meetings, helping improve emails and documentation and preparing presentations and visits. Your participants are business professionals who need to improve their ability to communicate in English.

As we work exclusively with business clients, we are looking for qualified trainers who feel comfortable working in a corporate environment.

We are looking for trainers with:

  • Recognised TEFL qualification (min. CELTA or equivalent)
  • 3 years’ EFL experience including corporate / business English training or a corporate background and 2 years’ TEFL experience
  • A working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office programmes (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and virtual platforms (e.g. Zoom, Teams, Webex)
  • A committed, professional attitude to training and client management

Apply for a job as a freelance trainer

For our Soft Skills and Leadership solutions

You’ll deliver engaging, challenging and transferable seminars and workshops to our corporate clients. Most of the training training is delivered virtually. Based from home, you’ll deliver practical training modules to our clients via Webex or a similar platform. Our clients are mainly from Germany and the Benelux, but as we work wherever our clients are,  projects have also included western and eastern Europe. Scandinavia, the Middle East and North America.

As we work exclusively with business clients, we are looking for experienced trainers who feel comfortable working in a corporate environment.

You’ll:

  • receive support in each project from a project lead (an interface between sales and delivery) plus a Target co-ordinator
  • work with training materials built by experienced trainers
  • have the opportunity to work alongside and learn from experienced colleagues
  • benefit from our internal training opportunities, shadowing, coaching and team-training
  • be supported when pursuing relevant certification programs and associated qualifications

Requirements to apply

For you, as for us, training is about people. Your experience, energy and enthusiasm make a difference. Beyond that, we look for:

  • A professional background and extensive experience in delivering training
  • A minimum of 3 years’ training experience in delivering either communication, intercultural or interpersonal skills
  • A committed, professional attitude to training, work in general & managing the client
  • Comfortable using standard Microsoft Office programmes (Word, PowerPoint,Outlook) and and virtual platforms (e.g. Zoom, Teams, Webex)
