The Belbin Team Inventory is a self-perception and observer assessment, developed by Dr. Meredith Belbin and used by organizations since 1981. The assessment reveals how individuals tend to behave, contribute, and interact in a team setting. The Belbin Team Inventory identifies nine distinct team roles, and understanding these roles can help individuals and teams improve communication, collaboration, and overall performance in the workplace.

You have the option to ask colleagues to complete an Observer Assessment

You learn which of the 9 Belbin team roles you have an affinity towards, and which ones you don’t

If your team is completing the Belbin Self-Perception Inventory together, you can produce a team report

You’ll work with an experienced trainer to reflect on your results, and consider the next steps
