Unconscious bias in the workplace
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
Unconscious bias, also known as implicit bias, are stereotypes that are unintentional, automatic and deeply ingrained. We all have them and, although it would be unrealistic to think that any training can remove them, training can play a part in mitigating their impact. By being aware of our own biases we can improve the way we recruit, work together, manage individuals and teams, and deliver results.
